Elektra’s mandate is to inspire and lead in the choral art form through excellence in performance and through the creation, exploration and celebration of women’s repertoire. As part of its many outreach opportunities, Elektra is pleased to announce the winner of the Elektra Women’s Choir $500.00 Youth Scholarship for 2019. Our congratulations go to Connie Goetz, a musician from Port Coquitlam, who will be starting 2nd year of a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Victoria in September. The purpose of this annual scholarship is to support a young developing musician in their music education.
