We have exciting news for you! Elektra has created an amazing record of our last 23 years and we have recorded it for your listening pleasure.

From the Hearth is a unique listening experience featuring recorded music by Elektra with commentary from Artistic Director, Morna Edmundson and Conductor Emerita, Diane Loomer, C.M. Join them as they sit by the fire, enjoy a glass of wine, and reminisce about Elektra’s past 23 years.

From the Hearth is now available for download from our website for your enjoyment on your computer or MP3 device. We invite you to sit by the warmth of the fire at home, sip a glass of wine, and enjoy time with Elektra.

Last season’s highlights included Tapestry an international festival and celebration of women’s choirs, and the release of our latest CD, Elektra's Garden. This 2009/20010 season we are celebrating the appointment of Morna Edmundson as Artistic Director with Chez Nous, Christmas with Elektra, Romance: Schumann, Brahms, and Fauré on June 6, 2010, and a with a number of collaborations and exciting projects in between.

Elektra is a charitable organization and can issue you a tax receipt for tax purposes for a minimum donation of $25 or more. All donations will assist Elektra in its mission to “inspire and lead in the choral art form through excellence in performance and through the creation, exploration, and celebration of women’s repertoire."
