ELEKTRA WOMEN’S CHOIR Volunteers – Help us make a joyful noise!

For over 23 years, Elektra Women’s Choir has been fortunate to have dedicated volunteers who sing, manage front of house, usher at concerts, and help plan our special events. Volunteers are a critical component to the success of Elektra and your support would be most welcome!

If you would like to volunteer, here are some opportunities for you to consider.

Concert Help

If you would love to be part of an Elektra concert and don’t mind a little work, we would be delighted to have you join our concert volunteers. We need people to greet our patrons, process ticket purchases, hand out programs and usher patrons to their seats, and sell CD’s. After a busy hour or two, sit back and enjoy the concert free of charge! Email Elektra's General Manager for further details.

Special Events Help

Calling all party lovers and event planners- here is an outstanding opportunity for you to throw your creative energy into the planning of our annual fundraiser, “Simply Elektra,” being held June 6, 2010 at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver. Board of Directors

Here’s a chance to make a difference in the world of performing arts here in Vancouver. Elektra Women’s Choir is looking for energetic volunteers to serve on our board of directors. The board is seeking individuals from the community who have expertise in the areas of fundraising, publicity, legal, and/or financial. This is an exciting time for Elektra in that it has recently named Morna Edmundson, as its Artistic Director.
