Chez Nous: Christmas With Elektra (2013)
7:30 PM November 29th, 2013 at Ryerson United Church
Elektra Women’s Choir welcomes you to “our house” to herald the Christmas season in style. Experience a joyful mix of familiar melodies and new music. Pause and reflect on all that is meaningful to you at this time of year through the artistry of Elektra and its special guests. Celebrating the centenary of its premiere, Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols takes centre stage in a performance with Vancouver harpist, Heidi Krutzen. Elektra, Artistic Director Morna Edmundson, and accompanist Stephen Smith also welcome the youthful voices of the Little Flower Academy Chamber Choir, under the direction of Marizza Mislang, to this very special, joyful concert.
