Chez Nous: Christmas with

Chez Nous: Christmas with Elektra is the choir’s seasonal offering, this year welcoming saxophonist Julia Nolan in a program of traditional and newer works from the thoughtful to the playful.


Elektra takes a deep dive into the human condition, exploring despair, hope, love, solidarity, boldness, and more with Humanity. Featuring the music of Zanaida Robles, Claudio Monteverdi, Marie-Claire Saindon, Libby Larsen, and more, with a focus on recent works by Canadian composer Laura Hawley.

Tapestry International Celebration of Women’s Choirs

Elektra is connected to women’s choirs around the world, celebrating and championing this artistic form. Elektra welcomes a choir known for their leadership over many decades: The Women’s Chorus of Dallas under Melinda Imthurni. Experience the artistry of Elektra and this guest ensemble at the free concert Choral Threads on May 5 and the Celebration Concert on May 6.
