Elektra at Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival

Saturday, September 23, 8:00 pm and Friday, September 29, 6:55 pm

Renfrew Community Park, 2929 East 22nd Ave. Vancouver

In collaboration with Vancouver’s extraordinary Still Moon Arts Society, Elektra will be reprising excerpts from Snewíyalh tl’a Staḵw (Teachings of the Water) by composer T. Patrick Carrabré with Squamish words contributed by Rebecca Duncan.

On September 23, members of Elektra will perform at Still Moon Arts Society’s Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival. This magical event allows participants to wander through a forest of lanterns, trees, music, and movement on the pathways of this lovingly-restored urban ravine. This event is free, self-paced, and open to all ages.

On September 29,  Elektra will perform in the festival’s  Consciousness of Streams finale event. This performance is a free, ticketed event open to all ages. Free tickets can be found here.
