This charming, simple arrangement for SSA suites the naive quality of the carol itself. In November 2011, Elektra commissioned Vancouver composer Cameron Wilson to replace the piano accompaniment with one for string quartet. It is WONDERFUL – lots of pizzicato and variations between the verses beyond what is in Rutter’s piano part. We are not sure what the copyright implications are for additional performances of this accompaniment, so recommend you contact Cameron Wilson directly.
