A completely delightful work by Joan Szymko on a text of E. E. Cummings. SSAA and piano with an incidental soprano solo (or section). Lilting 9/8 and 6/8 metres with some 7/8 mixed in. Rhythmically and note-wise some challenges, but all in service of a charming and carefree affect.
