Nay, Ivy, Nay from Sir Christëmas

Conductor Notes:

One movement from the larger suite “Sir Christëmas” (See the entrance in this resource for the suite). A short, punchy and energetic movement that responds playfully to “Ivy Chief of Trees” by saying “No, Holly is better than Ivy.” When performing single movements from the suite, we’ve just used piano accompaniment rather than the whole instrumental ensemble.
